Chimie Verte Academy - 1st summer school Green Catalysis - Poitiers
1st Summer School on Green Catalysis – Poitiers
July 6–8, 2026
The Chimie Verte Academy is organizing its first Summer School dedicated to green catalysis and sustainable catalytic processes.
This intensive program is designed for master’s students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, early-career scientists, and engineers who wish to deepen their knowledge of modern catalysis. The school offers both fundamental and applied perspectives, covering:
- Metal catalysis
- Acid–base catalysis
- Bifunctional catalysis
- Modern activation methods: electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, sonocatalysis, plasma, microwave-assisted catalysis, and mechanochemical activation
The program combines academic lectures, case studies, industry and laboratory visits, poster sessions, and a roundtable with industrial partners, fostering scientific exchange and international networking.
Special Event
🏆 The 2026 French National Final of the BISC-E Challenge will take place during the Summer School.
The Bio-based Innovation Student Challenge Europe (BISC-E) is a European innovation competition focused on bioeconomy-driven and sustainable solutions developed by student teams.
Hosting the French national final in Poitiers provides participants with a unique opportunity to engage with an ecosystem dedicated to green chemistry and sustainable innovation.
